Friday April 23nd
Well ref how I ended my “daily blog” yesterday, I said I was going to make my way from Tampa Fl to Viera Fl. Well I did not make it past the compound of the Cummins Truck & RV Service Station! The generator on the RV needed some repair and could not be fixed before the mechanic spending all day on it today. So I had an interesting sleep parked in a secured compound of a truck station last night.
So after spending an entire day waiting, I had a 2-hour drive to do. But not all was wasted in my waiting time today. I spent a good chunk of it reviewing the entire Bible from beginning to end. I think the Lord inspired me with my first message when I get back to Sequoia. So you won’t want to miss out on that one – May 9th – and you’ll need to bring your seat belt!
Therefore after a day layover in Tampa I am finally at my new destination. And I am with my friends right now so I should go. They are watching the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”. I love that movie – the story of a slumdog who defeats all odds and stays persistent to his one true love no matter how much shame she had to endure on account of other people’s sinful nature and selfishness. So I pray the Lord uses this simple guy from “Lowertown” and that because of his persistency, God does something out of the ordinary. That’s my prayer. It’s always been my prayer!
