Sunday April 18th
Hey folks – sorry I am one day behind in getting the “Sunday Blog” up. But after attending the early church service at FBC Montgomery, I ended up driving all day to Orlando. It was indeed an all-day drive needed – 10 hours. But it was a great drive even though I experienced rain for the first time since I’ve left Ottawa. Lots of time in 10 hours to pray and petition God for the reasons He put me on this trip.
Well as many of you know, there was a great surprise waiting for me at the Orlando Airport – my wife! Yes Donna got a crazy deal for $70 for a one-way ticket non-stop flight with West Jet from Ottawa to Orlando. Same deal going back on Thursday, but from Tampa.
After “hugs & kisses” at the airport, we made our way to the Campus of First Baptist Church in Orlando. We got permission from them to park the RV in their parking lot for the week. This place is HUGE. Well more about that in the next blog.
That was the highlights of my day on Sunday! And Donna is a very special highlight to be with me on this crazy trip and experience it for a few days.
